What mixing tools and containers are recommended for bulk pours?
For large resin pours, preparation and the right tools make all the difference. You'll need:
A large clear measuring pail with graduated lines for accuracy and a larger pail for mixing - OR - a scale for if you prefer to weigh the resin at a ratio of 100 parts resin to 84 parts hardener
A large stir stick or a drill with a silicone mixing attachment. Stir slowly to avoid bubbles and scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing container as you would for smaller pours.
A propane torch is essential for removing bubbles over a large surface
Spreading tools will help distribute the resin evenly.
Plan ahead with a dust cover - either a board propped over stands or a wood frame covered in heavy-duty plastic.
Finally, don't go it alone: having a friend to help pour, spread, and torch makes the process smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.
How long does curing take when using large volumes of ArtResin?
ArtResin is dry to the touch within 24 hours and reaches its full cure in 72 hours.
For best results, allow the resin to cure in a warm and dry environment, ideally between 75-85°F (24-30°C) and 50-80% humidity. It's important to maintain stable temperatures during the first 24 hours to avoid dimples in the resin surface.
Yes, once fully cured, ArtResin can be safely used as a food contact surface.

Please note: Once you add colorants or other additives to your ArtResin mixture, it is no longer be considered food safe. However, applying a final topcoat of clear ArtResin will restore its food-safe status.
How should I store the resin and hardener from the 10 gallon kit between uses?
Store your resin upright in a cool, dark place that's not prone to temperature or humidity swings. Unopened bottles have a shelf life of about 12 months from the date of manufacture. Once opened, we recommend using the product within 6 months for best results. (You can find the date of manufacture on ArtResins' labels).
Before using, allow the resin and hardener to come to room temperature to ensure an easy mix, smooth pour, and crystal clear results.
prima non riuscivo mai ad ottenere un buon risultato, duraturo nel tempo.
Le altre resine mi creavano sempre dei problemi mentre Art Resin è sempre garanzia di riuscita.
E' un piacere usarla.

Best resin available for fine art projects
I'm a professional artist working with resin, acrylic and glicee prints from digitally constructed images . I consistently get the best results with the ArtResin produce t line. That's why, when I'm preparing for a show, I purchase the big 10-gallon containers. The product is well protected from air and moisture. I trust ArtResin.

Very Happy
ArtResin is always my go-to product but this was the first time purchasing the 10 gallon version. The 10 gallon system is super pro and user friendly. It provided me the perfect solution to my needs. I required a large quantity of resin for a large exhibit.
