Remove Resin Bubbles With Ease!

Mixing resin will naturally create bubbles, but don't worry—they’re easy to remove with our Maker's Torch. After you've poured and spread the resin, lightly run the torch over the entire surface. The heat from the flame instantly warms the resin, allowing bubbles to rise and pop for a smooth, glassy finish.

Important Tips for Torching:

• Hold the torch a few inches above your work so the flame lightly touches the resin surface. You should see bubbles disappear immediately. If not, move in closer.

• Keep the torch moving in a smooth back-and-forth motion, similar to ironing clothes. A few passes should be enough to remove bubbles.

• Use caution when igniting or during use. Point the torch away from yourself, never leave it unattended, and keep it away from flammable substances. Do not use the torch on solvent materials, including alcohol inks.

When it Comes to Torching, Less is More.

Holding the torch too close to the resin surface or lingering in one spot for too long can result in over-torching. This can cause dimples, ripples, yellowing, or even burn marks on the cured resin. Check out our blog for tips on how to avoid over torching.

    Different Torch or Updated

This is what I got and it’s a little different. I figured out how to refill the butane, however, confused on hot to actually use it since the instructions are like the actual Art Resin video that was posted to YouTube on using a torch. Still trying to figure out how to turn it on.

Hi there, there is a small update to our torch but it still functions in a similar way. There is a child safety tab that needs to be engaged located right by the ignite button. Once you disengage the safety, press the ignite button then the red slide tab on the side can slide to lock the flame in the "on" position. I hope this helps :)

    Great tool

I have never used a torch before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it did the job. That’s all I cared about.
