Congratulations to artist Dave Blanch, our latest weekly winner!
Dave was born and raised in Philadelphia but lives and works in Florida. He is a full-time self-taught artist who prides himself in being able to paint virtually anything. Although acrylic is his favorite medium, many of his pieces are rendered in multimedia as he loves finding new techniques and ways of creating.
The process for every piece varies, but in general Dave will begin with a colorful abstract background and then paint something either from nature, an emotion, or the female face. Eyes are also a huge focus for Dave in his artwork.
Dave will then add ArtResin to his pieces or provide the option to his clients. He loves how the colors really stand out under the resin, especially when he mixes in some glitter. The combination of Dave's talent and ArtResin really takes the viewer's eyes for a ride!
