How Resin Can Elevate Your Wedding Decor

1. Custom Color Options

Resin makes it easy to customize tableware and decor to match exactly what you’ve envisioned. From the color of your bridesmaids’ dresses to the tones in your bouquet or your signature cocktail, just a few drops of pigment can create the perfect color pairing.

2. Personalization Made Easy

Names, dates, initials, a photo, menu, or even a handwritten note ... resin lets you lock in those meaningful details under a clear, glass-like finish. Whether it’s a vinyl decal, a wood engraving, or hand lettering, resin will enhance a design beautifully.

3. Match Your Theme

No matter your vibe, resin can reflect it:

Beach wedding? Create ocean-inspired pieces with layered waves and seashells.

Rustic barn? Embed dried wildflowers or greenery for a natural, earthy feel.

Modern and minimalist? Go for crisp lines and neutral tints for a sleek, elegant look.

Classic glam? Think rich colors, metallic accents, and gold leaf for a luxurious sparkle.

Bridal-Shower & Rehearsal-Dinner Ideas

Pre-wedding celebrations are the perfect opportunity to get creative with resin and set the mood for your big day! Handmade details go a long way in making your events feel personal and thoughtfully styled - and resin makes it easy to customize each piece to match your vision.

Custom Coasters

Coasters are one of the most versatile resin projects for wedding events. They’re great for cocktail hour, place settings, or even as keepsake favors. You can tint them in your wedding colors, add the couple’s names or a meaningful phrase, sprinkle in some gold leaf or pressed flowers to match the wedding bouquet or a rustic theme ... There are so many options to make them completely your own.

Ceremony & Reception Show-stoppers

When it comes to the big day itself, resin can help transform functional items into beautiful, meaningful décor that feels cohesive with your theme and unforgettable to your guests.

Table Numbers & Name Plates

Add custom calligraphy or decals to cured resin embedded with gold for a smooth, durable surface that's both beautiful and practical.  For a more organic, textured look, embed dried wildflowers or coat numbered rustic wood slices in clear resin instead.

Donation or Card Box Lid

Add a personal touch with a custom resin lid: pour an ocean art scene to match a beach wedding or embed the bridge and groom's initials or wedding date.

Custom Letters

Create bold, freestanding resin letters that spell out LOVE, Mr & Mrs, or the couple’s new last name. Add in LED lights or embed delicate details like dried florals, or metallic flakes. These pieces double as stunning décor and sentimental keepsakes for your home.

You can also create custom letters as favors for guests, bridesmaids, or groomsmen.

Tips for Wedding-Ready Results

  1. Plan curing time: Resin needs time to cure properly.  Give each piece at least 72 hours to cure so it's ready before the big day.

  2. Temperature matters: Follow the label directions and keep your resin pieces out of direct sunlight or high heat.

  3. Do a test pour: Especially when matching colors to a palette, pour a small batch first to ensure the perfect hue before committing to your final pieces.

  4. Seal embedded items: Dried flowers, paper, or photos should be sealed first to keep moisture or air from creating bubbles into the resin as it cures. A quick spray sealant can make all the difference.

Is ArtResin food safe for wedding items like dessert trays or coasters?

Yes, ArtResin is food safe when used as directed. But it’s important to note that if you add colorants, glitters, flowers, or anything else into the resin, the food safety designation will be compromised.

Here’s a simple workaround:
If your piece will be in direct contact with food, add a final top coat of clear resin. This creates a food-safe surface while still preserving all the custom details underneath.
