Becky Lindner

Becky Lindner is a painter and mixed media artist based in Pocahontas, AR who creates colorful, textured artwork using acrylic paint and recycled dried paint:

"I create in my studio beside my house, where I have a table that’s always full of leftover paint. I peel the dried paint from my palette and arrange the colorful pieces on a painted canvas. Then I prepare the artwork and pour resin over several pieces at once.  For years, I threw the peeled paint away while wondering what I could make with it. The first piece I created from leftover paint was the state of Arkansas, and I’ve been giving it new life ever since."
