Jermaine is a prolific, self-taught artist from San Francisco, California. His incredible portraits provoke thought by opening a window into the inner workings of certain communities.
Jermaine's goal is to bring awareness to social, economical and worldly issues about urban art culture through portraits of minority and urban subjects. Very inspiring, Jermaine!
Starting at the young age of 3, Jermaine has developed his sketches into the sophisticated and intricate portraits that they are now. He prefers to work with acrylic paints due to their vibrancy and versatility.
Once a portrait is created, Jermaine will pour a layer of ArtResin onto his paintings in order to make the colors pop and enhance the experience for the viewers. In his words, "there is a 'Shock & Awe' effect once the ArtResin is cured and gives my Fine Art an 'HD' effect."
