Rakhi Jha
With over 20 years experience in art, architecture, and interiors, artist Rakhi Jha is known for turning everyday objects such as trays, charcuterie boards and furniture into stunning pieces of art.
"You may have heard of a fluid art technique called a Dutch Pour, where a hair dryer is used to move paint into beautiful, organic designs. I use a similar technique — but with tinted resin instead of paint."
In her tutorials, Rakhi shows how to give “coaster fails” a glow-up using fluid art techniques, and how to transform a plain gold tray into an abstract design using layers of tinted resin and alcohol inks. Both projects are created using a hairdryer to guide movement and shape the design, resulting in organic, expressive patterns.
Follow along as Rakhi walks you through each step and shows just how approachable fluid art can be.
